Aspire North REALTORS® Endorses Traverse City Candidates
Aspire North REALTORS® has officially endorsed several candidates for Traverse City’s upcoming election:
- Amy Shamroe for Mayor (2-year term)
- Lance Boehmer, Laura Ness, and Peter Schous for City Commission (4-year terms)
These endorsements were made after a thorough interview process. Candidates completed a questionnaire on important real estate issues and then had an in-person interview with a panel of local REALTORS®.
Why these candidates were chosen:
- Amy Shamroe was chosen for her dedication to the city’s well-being. She has a strong record of supporting Traverse City's history and character while also planning for its future growth and prosperity.
- Lance Boehmer, Laura Ness, and Peter Schous were endorsed for their commitment to key issues, including:
- Finding creative solutions for Traverse City's housing shortage.
- Investing in the city’s infrastructure.
- Demonstrating strong involvement in the community.
