It is our great pleasure to announce Debra Hall with Real Estate One Traverse City, Randolph as the Aspire North REALTOR® of the Year for 2023. Quoting directly from her colleagues who nominated her, Debra is the picture-perfect Realtor. She epitomizes the Real Estate Professionals' "Faithfulness to the foundational principles of exceptional client care and service." In her 23-year career as a Realtor, Debra's business accomplishments have been exceptional, as well as consistent. She was TAAR Rookie of the Year in 2001 and received the TAAR Distinguished Service Award just one year later in 2002. Her commitment to self-improvement and Continuing Education has resulted in her attaining several Professional Designations, including GRI, Green, ABR, PMI, MRP, and SRS.
But beyond her own accomplishments, she is a consummate colleague and mentor. Debra demonstrates a "Create, don't Compete" mentality, and she truly enjoys helping new agents realize success! Debra has served in the role of educator, teaching Realtor Etiquette, Advertising Legalities, and Fair Housing Law. She has been invited to lead first-time homebuyer courses through our local HUD multiple times.
Debra has always shown commitment to our noble profession as an RPAC President's Club and Sterling R contributor as well as consistently attending both Michigan REALTORS and NAR conventions and mid-year events.
Community ranks highly on Debra's priorities. Since 2015, she has been instrumental in the Make a Wish Foundation's wish fulfillment, and previously was extremely engaged in the "Bras for a Cause" fundraising events for the eradication of Cancer. Throughout her charity work across the years, Debra has also been a major contributor to the Real Estate One Charitable Foundation.
In addition to her involvement in our association, she has been heavily involved with WCR throughout much of her career. She has served as the Local President (2014), State Treasurer (2016) and spent three years on the National WCR Education committee, chairing in 2016. In recognition of her efforts, Debra was awarded the WCR Member of the Year award in 2016 and the Northern Michigan Chapter Member of the Year in 2019.
