I am a part of the sales and marketing team as well as our closing department for Mid-American Title Company. We are a family-owned title company and one of the oldest in Grand Traverse county, celebrating nearly 35 years of service. We thrive on being active members of our community by partnering with local charities to host events like electronic recycling days and the Salvation Army bell ringing. Events and charities like these allow us to support our local community members and veterans.

I have been with Mid-American Title for almost five years. I started out as their receptionist, then worked my way up to be a title processor and closer.  I had no knowledge about what title was before I started with this company, but they have taught me everything I know and I love what I do every day.

I benefit my clients by being knowledgeable and keeping up to date on the new changes that happen in the real estate world. I also make sure every time I walk into a closing room I’m personable, attentive, accommodating to their time, and ensure they understand each document that they are signing.

A little about myself, I’m a mom of two amazing kids, an eight-year-old boy, and a five-year-old girl. One of my favorite things to do when I’m not working or get a little free time is to crochet. I taught myself about nine years ago. I’m also a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors Northern Michigan and serve on their social media committee. I’m a part of the Traverse City Young Professionals Volunteer committee and love being able to help others in our community.

Communications & Marketing Director

As the Communications and Marketing Director, I oversee all the messaging and the manner in which it's delivered to our members.  This includes managing our weekly newsletter, social media presence, the members-only Facebook group, and our MLS Talk listserv.  With a background in visual arts, design, photography, and videography, I also help to develop original graphics, advertisements, and photo and video content.  If you're at one of our many events and see someone walking around with a camera, that's me!  As the unofficial tech guru of the office, I also work with staff to research and implement new technology and/or processes to better serve our members and reach them where they live, something that has become more important since the time of COVID.
