2022 Political Advocacy Award Winner | Kellie Sergent slideshow item

Each year Aspire North REALTORS® recognizes the contributions of an individual who has made a significant impact in political advocacy. This year, that honor goes to Kellie Sergent with Century 21 Northland – Elk Rapids.

Kellie is very active in civic affairs. She has been a long-time supporter of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee as a Crystal R Major Investor and has always championed the importance of investing in the real estate industry and protecting private property rights. She also sits on the Michigan Realtors® Public Policy Committee at the state level.

She brings this passion to her community as well, attending many of her local township meetings and offering the REALTOR® perspective on many issues. Even further still, she belongs to the Zonta Club of Traverse City, working to empower women worldwide through service and advocacy.

Kellie has been and continues to be an active member of Aspire North REALTORS®. She has served in many leadership roles, including Reverse Mentor, Secretary-Treasurer, and Board President. She is also the former Chair of the Education and Technology Committee, a member of the Rebrand Task Team, and currently sits on the RPAC Committee. Aspire North REALTORS® is honored to have someone of Kellie’s character represent our Association and the Real Estate Industry as a whole.

Communications & Marketing Director

As the Communications and Marketing Director, I oversee all the messaging and the manner in which it's delivered to our members.  This includes managing our weekly newsletter, social media presence, the members-only Facebook group, and our MLS Talk listserv.  With a background in visual arts, design, photography, and videography, I also help to develop original graphics, advertisements, and photo and video content.  If you're at one of our many events and see someone walking around with a camera, that's me!  As the unofficial tech guru of the office, I also work with staff to research and implement new technology and/or processes to better serve our members and reach them where they live, something that has become more important since the time of COVID.
